Abstract

This white paper is originally published in PM World Journal (ISSN: 2330-4480), Vol. XIV, Issue III – March 2025.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is fundamentally transforming the
landscape of education and corporate training, by offering innovative methodologies, advanced tools, and opportunities for personalized and scalable learning. In 2023 alone, global investment in AI in education reached $5.8 billion, with projections suggesting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 31.2% from 2025 to 2030 (Grand View Research, 2024).

Both sectors have adopted AI to address unique challenges, yet their approaches and applications reveal distinct differences due to their varied goals, audiences, and content. This white paper delves into the similarities and differences between AI in education and corporate training, examines its advantages and challenges, and provides actionable insights for stakeholders.
