IPM Day 2025: Event Recap – Mastering the Power Trio

Our 21st annual International Project Management Day (IPM Day) online event, held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, was a resounding success! Thousands of professionals from around the globe joined us to focus on this year’s central theme: “The Power Trio: Project, Leadership, and Agile.”

Our key takeaway this year: Project success today demands a new blend of essential skills. Professionals need to move beyond traditional methods, combining leadership and agile approaches with core management expertise to deliver real results.

 🎤 Featured Live Keynote Sessions

The day kicked off with five dynamic live keynote sessions:

    1. From Project to Product – Rethinking How We Deliver Value, with Roy Schilling, Enterprise Transformation Coach

      • Takeaway: Roy challenged traditional project assumptions and introduced the essential product mindset, urging attendees to shift focus from delivering outputs to delivering sustainable outcomes. His core message: Projects end, Products evolve!

    2. Agile Unlocked: An Overview of the Agile Methodology, with Nicole Petite, Nicole Petite Professional Training

      • Takeaway: This session explored how Agile practices enable teams to deliver value faster, adapt to change, and collaborate more effectively. Nicole demonstrates how Agile and Project Management can successfully co-exist to deliver value early and often.

    3. Coaching for Performance and Growth, with Tim Andrews, TJA Consulting

      • Takeaway: Tim energized the audience with his passion for mentorship and coaching. His live Q&A could have gone on for hours! Tim generously provided attendees with two amazing resources: a Coaching Toolkit and a Mentors Guide.

    4. Intentional Culture: A Design-Thinking Approach, with James and Krista White, Father and Daughter duo, and Authors

      • Takeaway: James and Krista discussed a practical, forward-thinking approach to leading with a strong organizational culture. They detail how to combine design-thinking principles with inclusive-leadership best practices to shape a culture that is resilient, inclusive, powerful, and effective.

    5. Project Management for Youth Changemakers—Turning Passion into Global Impact, a panel discussion with four amazing young leaders: Evelyn Chao, Anvi Palav, Saanvi Chiliveru, and Grace Andino

    • Takeaway: Young changemakers are stepping forward with energy and brilliant ideas to solve global challenges like climate change and social inequality. To move from inspiration to lasting change, however, they need the right toolkit. These young leaders share how powerful project management techniques equipped them to execute their visions. Their commitment and drive offer a powerful glimpse into the exciting future of the project management profession!

⭐ Audience Favorites: Live Q&A Sessions 

New this year, we invited two of our on-demand presenters for a dedicated 20-minute live Q&A, which was a huge hit with the audience. 

  • Shannon Leppky from Red Chair Coaching and Leadership Academy) gave an inspiring session on presence and emotional awareness. Her unique, impactful work, conducted on her ranch with horses, led to questions pouring in faster than we could answer! 
  • Darrel Popowich from Transformation Craft followed later in the day and continued a high engagement discussion on how to use clear visual tools and leadership strategies to create alignment, build trust, and drive sustainable success—without causing burnout. 

💡 Learning Tracks & Expert Insights 

There was also exclusive access to more than 20+ global expert speakers across three learning tracks. These sessions are designed to deliver practical, actionable knowledge that you can apply for immediate professional growth. 

  • Project, Program, & Portfolio Development: Bridging the gap between PMP theory and practical implementation, assessing project complexity, AI’s impact on the organizations, and managing organizational transformation.

  • Agile Practices: Cutting-edge discussions on integrating AI in Agile projects and what is (and isn’t) working in hybrid project management. 

🌍 Global Impact and Access

  • Global Reach: The annual conference successfully drew thousands of participants globally, serving as a vital platform for networking and shared knowledge among peers from every corner of the world.
  • On-Demand Access: Although the live day was November 6, 2025, attendees have on-demand access to the 25+ video presentations through February 8, 2026. This access allows professionals to earn up to 26 PDUs (Professional Development Units) at their own pace.
