Dr. Rodolfo De Acutis
Strategic Programs Lead and Global PMO Lead, R&D
Dr. Rodolfo De Acutis is the Global PMO Lead for R&D (all categories) leading the implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of Project Management Offices (PMOs) across all R&D Centers. In addition, he is the Sustainability Lead and Strategic Programs Lead for Confectionery and “ad interim” R&D Confectionery Lead for Packaging.
Dr De Acutis is certified in PMP-PMI, Green and Black Belt Lean 6 Sigma. He has a master’s degree in chemistry and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with an Academic background. He has lectured Organic Chemistry at the Universitá “La Sapienza” of Rome and was a researcher at the Italian Cultural Heritage Department. Recently, he has also been visiting professor for Project Management at the University of Leeds for Ph.D. Students.
Leon Herszon, Civil Engineer, Msc, PMP, is finishing his PhD studies and started his career at Shell managing HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), Information Technology and strategic projects. He was invited by IIL to start operations in Brazil, and moved thereafter to the USA. Now he is based in NY acting as Senior Vice-President, managing global and strategic business. He also delivers presentations and training worldwide, including lectures at Rutgers Business School, and communicates in English, French, Portuguese, German, and Spanish.
